LG has announced its new tablet LG G Pad 8.3 , which officially presented during the IFA 2013. The South Korean firm aims to compete with other devices so successful as the iPad mini, which will come with Retina technology in the coming months .

It is a tablet with little frame, 338 grams (308 grams for the iPad Mini and the Samsung Tab 314 August 3 inches) and has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, giving a density of 272 ppi.

G Pad will be released with Android  customized by the manufacturer, with several extra features like "Knock On" which allows the possibility of "awakening" the "tablet" with double tap.
